The Biology Department has an expert staff to serve its many constituents, which include not only the Biology Department itself, but also the Cell Biology and Neuroscience Department and the Natural Reserve System units administred by the UCR campus. Among other things, the staff handles payroll, accounting, personnel matters, many aspects of grant preparation and management, communications, laboratory preparation and support for teaching and research, facilities maintenance, animal care, purchasing of equipment and supplies, and student counseling and advising. A partial list of our permanent staff follows; we also have many temporary and casual employees.
